Experimental Cocktail Club has carved out a reputation as one of the most influential forces in modern cocktail culture. Founded in Paris in 2007 by Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros, and Romée de Goriainoff, the brand quickly became synonymous with innovation, quality, and a touch of mystery. Their success was built on a commitment to elevating mixology, introducing Parisians to a new era of craft cocktails. The concept resonated globally, leading to expansions in London, New York, Venice, Ibiza, and beyond. Today, the Experimental Group boasts a portfolio of bars, restaurants, and boutique hotels, redefining luxury hospitality with a focus on authenticity and creativity.
One of their most intriguing locations is their London outpost, discreetly tucked away in Chinatown. Hidden behind an unassuming black door on Gerrard Street, the bar exudes a speakeasy charm, offering an intimate escape from the bustling streets below. Inside, the décor blends Parisian elegance with London’s historic character, creating a space where expertly crafted cocktails take centre stage. The menu is a journey through classics and inventive creations, featuring vintage spirits and refined techniques.
This summer, Experimental Cocktail Club will be part of the French Connection at Cocktails in the City on Friday, 11th July. The event, celebrating the artistry of French mixology, will bring together some of the finest bars and brands in the industry. Joining them is their sister restaurant, Henri, located in Covent Garden. Henri, led by renowned chef Jackson Boxer, offers a Parisian bistro experience with a contemporary twist, making it the perfect culinary complement to Experimental Cocktail Club’s cocktail mastery. Together, they promise an unforgettable showcase of French-inspired hospitality at one of London’s most anticipated cocktail festivals.
See you at the bar.
