1910 Cantina

1910 Cantina returns this August, stepping out from the Mexican Collective they joined in 2025 and arriving with their own standalone stand. Their July pop-up at Cocktails in the City was a full-tilt success, a packed, high-energy showcase of their restaurant offering that proved London’s appetite for Mexican flavour delivered with real heart.

The Cantina itself is the creation of José and Mauricio, two friends born and raised in Mexico who built the brand to share the food, drinks and traditions they grew up with. The name nods to 1910, the year the Mexican Revolution began — a moment that shaped their culture and inspires everything from the menu to the bar programme. Their expertise runs deep: José brings a wealth of knowledge in tequila and mezcal, while Mauricio’s culinary background anchors the food in genuine regional tradition.

In London, 1910 Cantina has two neighbourhood homes — one in Balham and one in Parsons Green — each with its own rhythm. Balham is known for its weekend brunches and taco sessions, while Parsons Green offers a cosy, earth-toned dining room and a buzzing bar scene. Both locations champion warm hospitality, handmade tortillas and one of the city’s strongest agave selections.

Now, in partnership with the El Tequileno Platinum Range, they return to Cocktails in the City with a dedicated bar space built to show what their agave-led drinks programme can really do. Expect crisp, expressive serves, Guadalajara soul, and that unmistakable 1910 warmth, distilled into a standalone bar experience that feels like the next natural step in their London story.
