DRAM Bar has long been an industry mecca, the kind of place bartenders finish their shift and head to for a drink made exactly the way they wish more bars would make them. Their Denmark Street home became legendary for its multi?level layout, relaxed hospitality and a drinks program that balanced creativity with absolute technical precision. Now, as they prepare to relocate to a new site in East London, DRAM remains one of the most respected names in the city, a bar whose influence reaches far beyond its four walls.
Part of that reputation comes from their expertise in carbonated and batched cocktails, an area where DRAM has consistently led the conversation. One of the founders, Chris Tanner, has been instrumental in developing the Zacalita, a canned mezcal cocktail created with Zacal Mezcal. It is a smart, modern expression of what DRAM does best: flavour?forward, technically sharp and built for both quality and consistency.
At Cocktails in the City this July, guests will be able to try the Zacalita in a Sgroppino?style serve, bringing a refreshing, playful twist to a drink rooted in serious craft. It is a perfect snapshot of DRAMs approach: innovative, industry?loved and always a step ahead of the curve.
