Coffee Cocktail Collective

New experience: The Coffee Cocktails Collective

A New Era of Coffee Cocktails

The Espresso Martini put coffee cocktails on the map – a global phenomenon that brought café culture firmly into cocktail hour.

But the conversation has moved on. Cold brew is now a back-bar staple, coffee liqueurs have entered a new era, and London’s best bartenders are building drinks around single-origin beans, rum, vodka and darker, more complex flavours in ways that didn’t exist five years ago.

This summer, we invite you to taste what comes next with The Coffee Cocktails Collective, a curated drinks experience exclusive to Cocktails in the City.

Introducing The Coffee Cocktails Collective

This is coffee beyond the expected: colder, darker, more experimental and more fun.

Working with Mr Black Coffee Liqueur, Ron Santiago de Cuba Rum and Neon Coffee Vodka, Callooh Callay and Little Bat will bring their own take on where coffee cocktails should sit in 2026 – far beyond the after-dinner classic.

Expect bold flavour, sharp technique and drinks that show just how versatile coffee can be in the hands of the right bartenders.

Two Award-Winning Bars

From the same team, two takes on what a great cocktail bar can be: the Shoreditch destination and the Islington neighbourhood favourite.

Callooh Callay helped define a generation of London cocktail bars with hidden rooms behind mirrored wardrobe doors and its pioneering menu-as-storybook approach. Featured four times on The World’s 50 Best Bars list and winner of World’s Best Cocktail Menu.

Little Bat brings the softer local energy: low lighting, warm music, live jazz and creative, well-balanced drinks just off Upper Street. Named Best Bar in Islington and Best New Venue by DesignMyNight, it’s the neighbourhood side of the same award-winning team.

Together, they show exactly where good coffee cocktails should sit in 2026.

The Spirits Behind the Serves

  • MR BLACK COFFEE LIQUEUR: The go-to cold-brew coffee liqueur for some of the world’s best bars. Made with speciality coffee beans and top-grade wheat vodka, it’s rich, bittersweet and built on dark chocolate, caramel and citrus notes.

  • RON SANTIAGO DE CUBA RUM: Crafted since 1862, Ron Santiago de Cuba brings Cuba’s long-standing rum and coffee tradition to the garden – reignited after last Christmas’s Café Con Ron pop-up in London.

  • NEON VODKA: A new-wave Indian vodka made with real ingredients. Neon Coffee Vodka blends Arabica beans with Monsoon Malabar coffee for a smooth, aromatic spirit made to bring a little glow to coffee cocktails.
