Sipsmith

Sipsmith began as a small distillery in West London, founded in 2009 by Sam Galsworthy, Fairfax Hall, and Jared Brown with a simple yet groundbreaking vision: to bring traditional small-batch gin distilling back to the capital. Starting out in a modest setup in Hammersmith, they challenged outdated distilling laws and helped pave the way for the craft spirits boom that followed. Their unwavering commitment to quality, authenticity, and classic copper pot distillation quickly made them a cornerstone of the modern British spirits movement.

Today, Sipsmith operates from a larger distillery in Chiswick, still in the heart of London but now welcoming guests for immersive gin tours and tasting experiences. Their expanded space allows them to maintain the same meticulous production techniques while offering visitors a first-hand look at the artistry behind their spirits. Their portfolio now includes the iconic London Dry Gin, the velvety Sipping Vodka, and seasonal expressions like the Sloe Gin and Lemon Drizzle Gin, each crafted with the same dedication that defined their early days.

At Cocktails in the City, Sipsmith will be featured on the Local Luxury stand from July 10th to 12th, 2025, celebrated by leading bars such as Muse at RSA House, Guards Bar and Lounge, Artesian Bar, Gallery Bar at The Savoy, Eve Bar by Adam Handling, and Nipperkin. These venues will craft bespoke serves that showcase Sipsmith’s versatility, heritage, and commitment to British ingredients.

Through its presence on the Local Luxury stand, Sipsmith continues to champion British craftsmanship, proving that thoughtful, refined indulgence remains at the heart of modern cocktail culture.
