Sustainable cocktails take centre stage at Cocktails in the City as Dover Yard teams up with eco-conscious brands to create the B-Corp Bar, a celebration of planet-friendly drinks.
We’re excited to welcome this delicious concept to the gardens for July, August and September.
Located in 1 hotels in Mayfair, the bar team at Dover Yard’s sustainable and conscious approach shines through in the drinks menu, offering refreshing and innovative cocktails crafted with natural, locally sourced ingredients.
HATTIERS RUM
Hattiers Rum is made in the beautiful surroundings of South Devon and is the UK’s first B-Corp rum! Family run, the team source their rum from 25 of the finest distilleries across the globe.
What we’ll be drinking: Sunset Mai Tai.
40ml Hattiers Rum, 10ml Spent coffee and Almond orgeat (Homemade with spent coffee from the hotel operation), 10ml Cointreau, 15ml Lime Juice, 25ml Gooseberry & Passion Fruit Rehydrate (with repurposed pulp of our gooseberry use for cordial), 1 Dash Absinthe, 30ml Pineapple Juice, Top Up Angostura Bitter
NC’NEAN WHISKY
Nc’nean, a deliciously smooth whisky, is crafted from organic Scottish barley, their distillery is powered only by renewable energy, the bottles are 100% recycled clear glass bottle and they divert 99.97% of their waste from landfill.
What we’ll be drinking: Heritage Old Fashioned – 40ml Nc’nean Whisky, 10ml Holy Grass infusion, homemade with Scottish holly grass, 15ml Rhubarb Mead with (local honey and seasonal Scottish Rhubarb), 1 Dash Orange Bitter, 1 Dash Angostura Bitter, 7.5ml Demerara Sugar
AVALLEN CALVADOS
Avallen Calvados is the world’s first B-Corp certified Calvados, crafted from sustainably grown Normandy apples, ensuring sustainability from orchard to bottle.
What we’ll be drinking: Strawberry Orchard Fizz – 40ml Avallen Calvados, 10ml Richmond Elderflower Syrup (foraged with the team and preserved in house), 15ml Lime Juice, 30ml Strawberry butt Shrub (made with the strawberry buts of the strawberry used in our inhouse infusion) Top Up London Essence Soda Water.
