Set atop The Londoner, a new five-star hotel, 8 at The Londoner puts a modern spin on the traditional Japanese izakaya bar, serving innovative and beautiful cocktails alongside sake, small eats, and one of London’s finest collections of Japanese whisky.
Opened in 2021, 8 at The Londoner brings together three unique spaces to create an unforgettable experience. A lounge with skylights and views of London’s iconic skyline. The inviting restaurant, surrounding a beautifully back-lit bar. And the Shima Garden, a Japanese floating garden with a firepit centrepiece and a retractable roof.
The cocktails, prepared by a team of talented mixologists, explore and subvert traditional Japanese ingredients using groundbreaking techniques, with some cocktail components taking up to three days to complete.
